I enjoyed this course a great deal. Good mix of long and short holes. Fairways are well-maintained, and some are quite narrow. Greens are Bermuda, but they roll decently fast and are nice and smooth. Three of the par 3's are completely lined with tall hardwoods--you tee off down the chute, so to speak. #16 in particular is a standout par 3, one of the prettier holes around, I think. Good course with some options off the tee--you'll find yourself leaving the driver in the bag on many holes. Great practice area too--wish they could get some "real" range balls though, instead of the cheap-o Pinnacles.

Customer Service

Nice folks in the clubhouse. Clubhouse itself is quite nice. I'm giving this 3 stars in value because unless you live in Plano, it's a hell of a drive to get there.

I played the course 4/19/2008. This was the first time I had played the course in about three years. Nothing had changed since the last time. I was reminded why I have not played this course in a long while. The fairways were had as rocks, the greens were in terrible condition (large dead spots) and as always the course was packed with way too many golfers. This is a challenging course and not for the weekend hacker player, but that seems to be all they allow on the course. It took my dad and I 3.0 hours to play nine holes. The marshal was doing little to speed up play but drive around and listen to people complain. I now know why it was only $25. Save you money and play somewhere else.

Customer Service

Did not have enough carts. There were people on the first tee waiting for carts. The man in the pro shop asked if I had ever played here before, I should have said no to here what he would say next. Not impressed at all.

This course has it all. It starts out with a short par 4 that requires only a fairway wood or long iron off the tee.?xD;?xA;The next hole is a par 3, then a short par 5, then another par 3 over a creek. This gives a false sense that this is an?xD;?xA;easy course. The 5th hole, the signature hole has water on the right, a sloping fairway, and water in front of the green.?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;Hole 8 is a 270yd par4, if playing from the front tees a very reachable green. From the back however you must clear a group a trees?xD;?xA;and water. There is a large green to go for but you must weigh the risks. Hole 17 is very similar but there is no water and the green is ?xD;?xA;smaller. It is reachable but traps surround this green. 18 is a modest 420 par 4 but when the prevailing wind is ?xD;?xA;going it makes this hole play like it's 475yds.?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;Greens a fairways are in good condition and the practice area is top notch. Large practice green and chipping and sand areas also.?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;The only down side is on hole 9. This hole runs up the side of the practice range and if you hit your ball to the right?xD;?xA;you may have trouble finding it in all the range balls.?xD;?xA;?xD;?xA;All in all this is a fun course to play and is highly recommended especially on the weekdays
