Aaaayes...Fore Lakes.

I picked up the game of golf in this fine City. This would be the place in which, I would try to develope my skills for this game. I have played many, many rounds here. I have even brought my kids to play when they got older.

The back 9 is my old favorite stomping ground. I have Eagle'd the par 5 14th hole once, and at least I can walk away with that note.

To be able to take out a driver on a couple of holes is refreshing on a executive course and although, this course is always busy the condition of the course is good for what it has to go through.

I have witnessed a golfer (who was playing 9 holes) left a club behind on every hole because he thought that is how the game was played. So, after the last hole, he had only 5 clubs left in his bag.

I have witnessed a kid that was so drunk, that he got a hole-in-one on the last hole with a 6 iron...he had no understanding of what just happened.

I was on the 15th hole par 4 (solo) & after a year of playing, I wanted to gather everything I experienced up to this point on one drive...on this hole, at that moment...No one was around, I took my time, focused, in the zone pulled the trigger and wiffed my ball about 6" from the tee...a group of ducks that was in the water to the right of me, started to call out - quaaack quaack quaack quack...and so, from then on, I realized that just because no one was around, doesn't mean that someone wasn't watching. I was being laughed at by a group of ducks...and this all happened a Fore Lakes, SLC, Utah.

This is a 18 hole executive golf course. The front nine is all par threes. The back nine has a par 5 and at least one par 4. It has been years since I have played here. I remember it being the best par three course I have ever played. Excellent conditions and a good driving range. Good for kids and beginners.

After spending many summers learning how to golf at junior camps at Fore Lakes, I extremely enjoy returing for a leisurely round. The par 3 course is fairly easy, with extremely short yardages. The executive course is a little more challenging, but has more par 3's than the average course. In all, this course is extremely enjoyable to play, and extremely well cared for. The practice facilities are nice, also, consisting of a driving range (grass & mats), chipping green, and a putting green.

Customer Service

The staff are extremely helpful and the Pros are great. Also, there is a small food bar and eating area in the clubhouse.

nice short easy course. Great place to learn how to play the irons. Greens are very well taken care of. If you play like Tiger don't bother with this course.
