Shoots in the 90s

The scenery is fantastic-- trees, animals, and the observatory. I saw a coyote stroll across the fairway while I teeing up on the 6th hole. Bunkers, doglegs and undulating fairways add to course difficulty. Most second shots are from uphill, downhill, ball above feet, or ball below feet lies. I go on weekdays during off hours and there is waiting. Must be packed on the weekends. An exciting 9-hole course-- you will not be bored with the Roosevelt layout.

Customer Service

There are two elderly starters. The guy wearing a cap is friendly and all smiles . The other guy is a bitter old man-- unpleasant, hard of hearing, and rude.

Shoots in the 90s

A wonderful 9 hole course (not a pitch & putt) that's great for getting in 9 holes after work or when you can't spare the time for 18 holes. Blind tee shots, doglegs and elevated tees are all here. Nice and quiet and usually in good shape.

Customer Service

Good, for a LA City course. Starter is quite friendly and accomodating...

Shoot in the 80s

Where else can you get in 9 holes, at the end of a work day, for a near-nothing fee, and do it in the heart of the city? Just be sure to go on a weekday, weekends are packed.
Though the greens are often under repair, the wooded dog-legs and terrific scenery make up for it.

Shoot in the 80s

This is a great executive course near the Greek Theatre and the Observatory. There are no par 5s; however, three par 4s have blind shots to the flag. Changes in elevation and bunkers along the fairways and near the holes on par 3s makes this a very challenging course. It is difficult to imagine that you are in a city with nearly 4 million people as you are surrounded by statuesque pines and see wildlife (even deer) scurry through the trees away from errant tee shots. Good fairways and bunkers for a municipal course. An exquisite gem that is tucked away in the hills of Los Feliz.
