To feel your heart skip a beat when staring down at 15 fairway from the tee is like no other hole east of the Mississippi.

There are a few too many houses on this course. There are a few long holes that are into the wind on this course which make them play about 700 yards. Unreal. Dan Maples made a real gem here. The local terrain lent itself rather well to Maples's design style which has a bit of a links feel to it. There is one green, number 13 I think which is about 10 yards wide and about 20 yards deep and crowned and elevated. Scared yet? You should be! Some holes are tight, some are wide open, but still require the right shot to score. The club house was new in '99 I belive and is reasonably well appointed. The pro shop is bit small, but the staff is excellent. I felt like a member. Oh yea.... I am.
