It was a great course. After it rains you must watch for the puddles, but other wise it was wide and nice.

The course is ok, decent layout, good for novices. It could use a better drainage system though. I played it a couple of days after it had rained but despite the time between the weather and play there was still standing water on most of the fairways on the front nine so don?t count on hitting a good second shot from the fairways on the front nine because you will be hitting out of puddles. The sand traps are, needless to say, garbage; half of them had wasp infestations from a lack of grooming and the ones that didn?t were harder than concrete. Also, the designer apparently thought it would be fitting to through what look to be pin flags on the fairways! They provide no advantage for beginners or experienced golfers and actually confuse your reference of distance on the course; you cannot tell if they are marking the beginning of a dog leg, a water hazard, out of bounds, or a part of the course that is being restored. All in all they are very disadvantageous to the golfer. Also, don?t the score cards alert you of any upcoming hazards so what?s with the dummy flags? The price is also a little steep, 35 for 18 holes plus cart fees, for this mediocre public course.

Awful!!! I may not be the best golfer in the world but the one thing holds true anywhere you play golf is that it is supposed to be a leisure sport and people should be allowed to play at their own pace. When my group arrived and checked in we were immediately rushed to the tee box and told that we would miss our tee time if we did not hurry, despite being early because we had planned on warming up but there was no place to do so. Once on the tee box we waited for the group in front of us to get a fair distance down the fairway before teeing off but apparently the starter was not happy with our pace and told us to "speed it up" and kept up the attitude while we all teed off rushing us through the process. This attitude was mirrored buy a majority of the staff. So, if you do not heed my warning and decide to play this course anyways be prepared to be stacked on top of other golfers so you must play slower but you will continually be rushed through the course, an oxymoron I know but they did it. They apparently do not know how to plan prudently.

This course is a "has been". I've played this course 4 times over 3 years. The grass was inconsistent all around the last 2 times I was there. The fairways are thick. It's hard to distinguish where the fairway ends and the rough begins. The greens are slow. The last time I was there (April) it was atrocious. There was also a lot of construction. My approach shot on the 9th was over a running bulldozer that was kicking up a severe dust storm.

Customer Service

Course did not honor the lowere rate that was booked through Teetimes.com, even with my printed confirmation. It was a matter of principal. The manager responded that we could choose to play there or choose to play elsewhere. As difficult as it is to get decent tee times these days, we play. But this is definitely the last time my friends or I will play there.

Greendale is absolutely an average course. I don't mean this in a bad way. There is nothing wrong with the course, its just average. Its fairly easy, not many bunkers or much water. Good for women or people fairly new to the game. The course was in good shape.

Customer Service

Seems real easy to get a tee-time. Staff was friendly. Not snobby at all.
