Overall a great course until they run out of money in June to keep the course up.

Customer Service

Starter and Marshall were completely worthless. 3 hours for 9 holes!

If you have not played the course in the past year, you are missing out on one nice course. New manager and course superintendent turn course from swamp with bad greens to one that 'hits and releases' with great greens (stint meter reading of 11).

Customer Service

Inside staff getting better all the time and the volunteers are very helpful and take good care of the course. If you are interested in volunteering, email me. I am always looking for good volunteers.

Model Reviewed: Brambleton Golf Course

This is a very nice course, has a good layout and some very nice holes. #7 is an intimidating par-5 with an elevated tee-box; very challenging. The only concern is with the goose droppings on the course. Besides that, it is a great course to play.

Customer Service

Very helpful, always willing

Great course layout, a true value for your money at a public course. Tee boxes and greens are in great shape...although the fairways leave something to be desired on about half the holes. Fairways are rather large and in most cases, a 50/50 shot of having a shot if you miss the fairway. At the end of the day, good shots are rewarded and bad shots are not, although the penalty is not too steep.

I played this course on July 4, 2004. It was in bad condition. The fairways were overgrown about three inches and the greens were so soft it made fixing your ball mark feel like you were filling in the Gulf of Mexico. The tee boxes were the only thing worth bragging about. Dont get me wrong, it is a great design. there are some really tough holes on it, including #7(WOW, what an incredible hole). The superintendant just needs to know that he is about to lose his third golf course.

Customer Service

They are all very nice there. but, it is the first golf course i have seen that has a problem with my stand bag on the tees.

Shoots in the 70s

Shoot in the 70s from the back tees on this course and you've done well. The signature hole, for me, is the par 5 no. 7, which has a severly elevated back tee that's about as intimidating as you'll find in this area. Everybody should try that tee shot at least once.

Customer Service

Friendly staff and helpful marshals.

This course has a nice layout. The greens were in nice condition however, their fairways looked just like my country clubs first cut of rough.

Customer Service

Nice very friendly

Shoot in the 90s

The course is challenging without being unreasonable. If you stay straight off the tee, there is a good chance of having a nice apprach shot to the green. A couple of holes have a little too much of a dogleg, but it's not outrageous. Played the course on a very wet day, but the fairways and greens played as good as could be expected. Very nice starter and marshalls which contrasts greatly with the downright rude staff at Pohick.

Customer Service

Again, very friendly staff.

The food was hot and tasty. They were out of Domionion that day and we had to drink Bud Light. That's Ok though.

Shoot in the 90s

This course has some very pretty holes. The clubhouse was nice, but I thought it was a little expensive. I remember one hole that was like a 90 degree dogleg that was quirky and dumb. I wasn't real impressed with it, but I might warm up to it if I got a chance to play again.
