The worst staff this side of the Mississippi.I have been treated better by the French in France.

I have been willing to deal with the 5 hour rounds and inattentive staff at Penderbrook over the years b/c of it's convenience and resonable twilight rates. However, the conditions during my last round were inexcusable. The course was dirty and terribly conditioned. There were weeds springing up from many of the greens, and the fairways were about as well kept as your average dog park. I'll go out and hit on pretty much any course, but there something disturbing about paying to play on a course with turf most commonly found in suburban backyards.

Here's the thing....the layout of this course is great, and it could be really nice.....but the maintenance is garbage. Couple that with the fact that they charge like $70 to play there, and you will want to avoid this place. For $25 or $30 I could see it, but the current prices are a total ripoff. If they ever fix the place up though, the price would be worth it.

Customer Service

Awful. They are generally unfriendly, have no clue how to send people out on the course in a manner that would make sense, and give you a hard time for "slow play" when you are clearly waiting for the group ahead of you. All of the congestion problems are caused by the ineptitude of the staff, not by too many people on the course.

Penderbrook is my home track and I sometimes feel a need to defend her. I try to play there twice a week. Palmer Golf Management took over a few years back and made some positive moves. The condition of the course steadily decreases as the summer wears on because it sees sooooo much traffic. I definitely recommend playing during the week. It's a fair but challenging course, what it lacks in length it makes for in variety.

Customer Service

Fair. Not great, not terrible. Plenty of eye candy in the clubhouse this summer!

A fair course with some challenging holes.

Customer Service

Fair to poor. No one at the starter gate, no one keeping the golfers on track, no one at the front desk to provide quick service.

The golf course is in terrible shape. I played in October, and the grass was spotty all over the course. The pace was incredibly slow. Luckily, I didn't pay the usual $70. Instead, I paid the fall rate of $21, which was more reasonable.

I have played Penderbrook once and had mixed feelings on the course. I am happy that the course was pretty straight forward and I was able to score better than my average round. Staff were very nice, practice putting greens were well maintained and challenging. However, the price of this course, $70, was quite a bit more than the course is worth. Second, the course is not in the best of conditions....downright bad drainage made several of the fairways turn into mud pits. Poor putting surfaces, unbelievably thick rough with no intermidiate rough. Lastly, the pace of play is horrible. There were several par 3's close together and it caused major log-jams where more than several golf groups were waiting to tee off. All in all, not a bad course for $35, but not even close to the $70!

Nice, fairly challenging Arnold palmer design is a tight course with some very challenging holes. Course maintennace left a little to be desired though...lots of newly seeded tee boxes and the greens aren't that great (although soem are very fast and undulating.)

Some of the holes willm really test you...a 220 yard par 3 over water!!! Looks like a short par 4 when you're on the tee box...and then u realize u have to carry the water, which is right below the green..TOUGH hole!! Another is a sharp dog left, where if you don't HUG the left side to the turn, you're left with a 180-195 yrd second shot to a three quarters island green!!!
Fairly short course (6200 from the blues) but a challenge nonetheless....

Customer Service

Staff was friendly...got us right out at 4pm and we barely snuck in 18...
