Shoots in the 90s

Great value course. The course is laid out very nice, not a lot of holes that run beside each other. Usually play at least 10 rounds per season here. The maintainence, is a little below par, but great for the money. Customer service is the best I have ever seen. It appears to family operated, and they do a great job making you feel welcome. Has some really neat holes. A lot of the fairways run right against wooded areas, which makes it more challenging. Definitely a lot of balls lost for beginners!

Shoot in the 90s

I have always enjoyed this course and play it several times a year. This course sits right off of the Blue Ridge Parkway at Mile Marker 202 just south of Rt. 52 (Fancy Gap)You have to look for it or you will miss it. This is a god course for Beginner. The maintenence is a little below par with bare spots in the fairway and on the tee-boxs. The greens are somewhat slow. The First hole is a shapr dog leg left with both your first and second shot over water. The front nine is tighter than the Back which is more open and more forgiving. You do not play back to the clubhouse at the turn. There are snack, soda machines and rest rooms located between the 9th green and the 10th tee. The finishing hole is a sharp dogleg right. The drive is all across water, no bailing out here. Long hitts should have no problem. short hitters like myself well....that's another story. This couse sits on top of the Blue Ridge Parkway so in early spring and fall you will probably need to dress a little warmer. Also because this course sits on top of the mountain fog can roll in pretty fast.

Great golf course, there is water on 13 of the 18 holes and trouble around every corner. They keep the course in great condition and you will love this course.
