Shoots in the 80s

I was a member here for about a year. Pretty good layout, not too hard for the average joe. A little bit lacking in amenities (range was only good for warming up--short irons only, no practice bunker, etc.) One thing I did like was that it had pretty good holes, and the layout allowed you to cut across easily and play less than 9 holes if you were pressed for time. Small greens, average fairways. Pretty well taken of greens, fairways, tee boxes could be better. Rough is short but thick (bermuda).

Customer Service

With one or two notable exceptions, the staff in the pro shop wasn't nice. When I'd bring friends or watch other people who weren't members and had to pay greens fees, the people at the counter treated them as inconviences. One of the ladies at the grille/snack bar was similarly rude.

Shoot in the 80s

The course was in really good condition. The fairways were fairly green and cut well. The greens were well taken care of and were pretty fast. The tee boxes were well taken care of. There is some really beautiful scenary there. The golf course is set right in the valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The mountain range is what makes up the back drop of the course.

Customer Service

Had to wait a number of times for workers who were spraying down greens and cutting grass. They would not stop to let you play through. Treaty poorly while in the club house paying for the round of golf. Not made to feel welcome at all, but like you were bothering them.
