Great course with a new clubhouse just finished. One of the friendliest staff I have ever run across in a course. For $40 with a cart, you really can't beat it. Just bring some extra balls, they are kinda easy to lose on the course. The rough is really ROUGH and the many blind spots make it easy to lose what you might have thought was a very playable ball.

Meadows Farms is a very fun course to play. Each of the 3 nines has its own unique character. Course is generally in very nice shape.

Customer Service

As usual, everyone was friendly and helpful.

This place is GREAT. The people that work there are over the top nice. They treat you like a friend. The food is cheap and very good. The beer is cheap. The course is fun. You even get a free hole. (19 on the main course, the first one is practice) Without all of the great hospitality it would be a good course, but with the hospitality I can honestly say that it was the most enjoyable round I've played in years. (even though it rained and I played lousy) Great place, great people, great food, cheap beer, what more could you ask for.

Customer Service

THE BEST I've ever experienced. And that says a lot.

This facility was built for the average golfer. You must remember that when you play. The ranger will kick you off if you are being over the top about being rude but this is a place for the beginner that may not be familiar with all of the customs that come with golf. The holes are spread out over a beautiful part of Virginia that I love. There are great, and I mean great holes and there are others that some purest may not like. The theme holes are a bit too much for me, but some seem to like them. More power to you if you do. As for me, I love the course. There are several signiture holes here that any place in the country would love to have. The waterfall is not only beautiful but a dang good place to sacrifice a ball to the golf gods. The longest hole is a good place to pick up a birdie, and just as easily get a double or even a triple. If you want to play some really nice holes at a really good price, then this is the place for you. I bring all of my freinds and family here that come from Texas to show them that we have the longest hole in the US and they always go away impressed and very happy.

Neat little novelty course. Really interesting holes that make you want to laugh. The greens are unrealistic with troughs and valleys. Course is designed for simply revenue. Not designed to be a true championship caliber course. If you are big on etiquette, avoid at all cost. Doesn't appear to be too much of a dress code. Extremely slow pace of play. Makes golf not fun if you have to warmup and stretch before every shot. Rangers do absolutely nothing to help pace of play. Simply drive around and sit. If you could manage an early tee-time or an off day, then attempt this course. If time is of no factor, bring a book and enjoy.

Customer Service

Good service except for the rangers who do nothing.

I have to disagree with the previous reviewer. The themed holes are cute, but there are 9 holes too many here. In many places there is less than 15 yards between fairways. I almost got killed when a golf ball richoched off the top of my cart. I was just off my fairway waiting for my partner to play. There are some pretty holes on this course, especially the waterfall hole. We played 18 holes in just a shadr under SIX HOURS. I have heard similar stories. The course was well maintianed and the holes had an interesting design, the holes are too crowded and 6 hour rounds are unsafe and unacceptable.

I would have given a higher value rating, but it an hour from Washington, it has to be inexpensive.

Customer Service

The rangers did nothing to keep the pace moving. The group in front of us had more than one full hole open in front of them and wouldn't let us through. We explained this to the ranger and he did nothing. On the high side they left us 14 Dunlop double Ti's for my shagger. One guy was wearing a tank top. The ranger did nothing about this either. I saw 5 somes and a 6 some there.

Played on 5/16.

This is a very special and unique 27 hole course more than a few miles from Interstate 95. What used to be rolling pastures is now a golf course with "themed" holes that can make even put a smile on the worst round.

Played the Longest Hole 9 and Waterfall 9. Both set of nines had holes of varying length and difficulty that it helps if you have local knowledge (my riding partner) to assist you with putting your ball out on the correct side of fairways/holes. You need to have good course management on the Longest Hole 9, even though you may want to drive the ball long every time. The Waterfall 9 is a shotmakers course that provides the beauty of the waterfall to go with the seriousness of the Confederate soldier's graveyard in between 2 holes.

Fairways, greens, tees and water on the course were in very good condition. Nothing seem to be neglected on the maintenance side. Nice touch with the 150 yard markers along side of each fairway. I don't believe I could ever get bored playing golf there because of the "themed" holes, serene setting in the countryside, and the diversity of the structure of all of the holes.

Customer Service

Superb customer service from counter, starter and I even got to meet the owner. I drove up as a single for a mid morning time on a Monday and was placed with a partner within 30 minutes and I had one of the best rounds of my life.

I understand that there is a warmup hole on the other 9 and that seems to be a great concept. The golf shop was OK, but I believe the restaurant was somewhat lacking in size and variety of food.
