EXTREMELY MISLEADING - The Tanyard Country Club website boast ... "Our golf course rolls out to hardwoods and water with lush fairways and crisp greens. It is so beautiful, the players might have a difficult time concentrating on their game rather than the view." This is extremely far from the truth, believe me, in fact this course SUX with a capital S. Yes, I had a hard time concentrating but it was mainly due to the very poorly maintained "Crab-grass" fairways - Tee Boxes that are not maintained and in very poor shape, as well as the so called bunkers that are overgrown with weeds and haven't seen a maintenance rake in years. The cart paths are pathetic, run down junk bridges with a piece of twine as a handrail in one area. The pro shop should be renamed the Con Shop as everything on the website is very misleading and not accurate at all. TCC is definetly not worth the $46. Because we booked on GolfNow.com we were committed to the tee time and paid the booking fees on top of the overpriced green fees for a totally disappointing round. Although we sucked it up and made the best of it, I can't believe TCC would be that misleading to the public and that GolfNow.com would advertise such a bogus course. On a scale of Ace to Snowman... the snowman melts away and then some.... Please do not waste your time or money..... if in doubt, go see it for yourself, but don"t say I didn"t warn you. - #1VAGolfer
