It's overall design. You have to think about your game and thought has obviously been put into it. Not a lot of water on the course because it doesn't need it.

I didn't pay but certainly price is an issue

Played this on my last trip to the States and I absolutely loved it! I understand part of the design is to reflect Ballybunion and one other Irish course who's name I can't remember. Being from the UK, this course I guess can be described as an inland links, if you can have such a thing. The condition of the course is superb and every hole is a challenge. You don't come to this course for an easy game, you come here to test your golf and can come away very satisfied or very tired or both. Really is one of the best courses I have ever played. I agree that you do need a course card as there are so many blind shots, but that is all part of the challenge. On my day, I only lost one ball, on the final approach shot to the 18th! Sick or what? If I had got around this course first time with one ball I would have had it mounted.

Unbelieveble!
No congestion (not many can afford it)

Price (although some twilite rounds are swollowable)
Twilite is when it gets crowded (be first in line)

Absolutely one of the most unbelieveable and breathtaking courses I have ever seen or played.
Shots here are like no other course; mOst of them are blind! You cannot play this course without the pictured yardage book in the pro shop (which I think is free with your round)

This course is so difficult, 5 does not do it justice (unless of course you have played it a bunch of times and know where you are hitting the ball)
