Shoots in the 80s

This is a very short course but is also a good place to boost your confidence. This is my home course, or at least was when I lived in VA. However, it will be again as soon as I am transfered back to VA. The course only measures around 4300 yds and has a 7 par 3s. There are no par 5s and the longest hold is 400yds. However, because the fairways are so narrow this is a challenging course. There are at least 4 or 5 holes where a driver could/should be used, but be careful because the fairways are narrow. there is one hole that runs the entire lenght of a road that is beside a fenced garden. I can't tell you how many golf balls I have lost in the garden but I would venture to say that 50% of all the golf balls I have lost in the last 3 years were in that garden. This was/is my home course and the reasons were cost and availability. I had an annual membership I will again as soon as I return to the area (currently in the frozen state of Rhode Iceland (Island), where golf is a rarity). I love this course because of the numerous par 3s and the relative shortness makes it easy to walk twice a day if you have the drive and time.

Customer Service

Great. Small club house that sells balls, gloves, tees, snacks. Don't expect to buy a set of clubs or a pair of golf shoes there though. However, you can rent a set of clubs if you are a military member there for a short period of time.
