Play can be slow if you're behind beginner golfers.

This is a very small, par-3 9-hole course located at Lake Ridge park. You don't necessarily need to make reservations, as most people just show up and play. The overwhelming majority of golfers are beginners; if you're getting a par on every hole, it's time to move up to a real course, shooter. Otherwise, it's a nice place to learn the game, or have a round with the kids. The dubious "signature" hole is the 60-yard 5th. It's laid out as simple as a hole can be: tee box, some rough, then a green 55 yards away. It's deceptively simple, because mentally you see the hole and think, "man, this should be a guaranteed par, possible birdie." Then you mess up your tee shot, and there you go. Other than that, the downhill 7th is beautiful and probably the course's actual signature hole.
