Shoots in the 80s

It was fun. There are few holes that stand out but that is to be expected at a city course. Pretty good condition too.

Good.

Shoots in the 90s

This is a decent course for the money. Easy access from Interstate 5. There are only 3 sand traps on the entire course. You can say it's a "confidence builder". No driving range on premises but huge pitching area where you can hit full 9 irons (provide your own balls). The greens are bumpy in the fall but then again who has nice greens at the end of the year?

Shoot in the 70s

For a public city-run course Walter Hall is pretty good. The holes are about what you would expect for a city course, with fairways that run side by side and and not too many sand traps, but some of the holes are pretty long especially on the front nine.

The front nine is a little boring, but the back nine is a lot more interesting.

This course is about average in condition most of the time. I play it all year long, but it does get muddy in the winter.
