Shoots in the 80s

This "Military Course" which is now open to ALL is a great venue for any avid golfer. No 18 hole rates, you pay (very reasonable) by the day and if you like your golf 36 holes with a lunch in the middle is a great way to play. the course is in the top tier of public venues in the area. You need to have a good feel for uneven lies to play well. WELL WORTH THE FEES

Shoots in the 70s

I guess I''m not so torn up about the restaurant closing early. This course has 27 holes, red, blue and green nines. The red nine has some very difficult holes, lots of elevation changes and some well placed water hazards. The blue nine is a little easier, has a couple great risk/reward holes, a really nice par 3 over a pond, and a 600 plus yd dog-leg left par 5 finishing hole. The green nine is the easiest of the three. the 6th holeon this nine is a great dog-leg right, flat tee shot to the corner then up hill all the way home, you finish up with two short par 4s the last of which is reachable with a decent poke. All three nines have the same things in common. Trees everywhere!!! Thick, northwestern rainforest thick. A precise tee ball is so important on this course. The course tends to play soft due to the rainfall in Washington, but it''s always in great shape and the greens put very nicely. Shooting anywhere near par on the red nine is a great round. i recommend you stop by this course if you get a chance.

Shoot in the 70s

Course in excellent condition for this time of year (July) the greens were fast, true and holding approach shots. The hole locations were fare with a few difficult back pins placements which made it even more interesting.
This is a great layout and a real challenge for any low handicapper to shoot even par around. I'm looking forward to my next visit..

Shoot in the 90s

Very nice course. Watch out for the trees though. A very challenging course and if you are walking, this is like a 4 mile walk for the 18 hole Red & Blue course. Greens are soft even in hot sunny day.
