I play this course quite often and I like it. However, it is true that a few greens are not in the best of shape. I like that there are few houses around and the view of Mt Rainier is spectacular from a couple of holes. Aesthetically, it is very nice. There is water on a number of holes and many fairways are undulating and/or up hill or downhill (not steep.) From the blues, its 6,500 yards with a slope of 130, which is challenging enough for me. It is easily a cut above the local munis (which I'm happy to play too) and the price reflects that, fairly I think.

Customer Service

The guys are nice. The restaurant has nice deals for senior players.

Foster's courses are all like this, visually intimidating. On 2 you can play safe and straight on your second, or cross the water, on 3 you have no choice but to cross the water, on 4 you can challenge one of the biggest bunkers in the state or play safe to the right. One of the best layouts in the state, maintenance was awful a few years ago but better this year. Bring your A game.

Course is over-priced for what you get. The conditions have gotten worse over the last few years. The greens have trouble getting enough grass to grow and the fairways are soggy at best even in the summer.

I have played many of the public courses around the Seattle area for many years now. I had heard good things about Druids Glen from many people and finally played the course yesterday (Aug. 7) This is definatley in the top 2 or 3 courses I have ever played. The course is kepted up beautifuly and the greens are fast. The course design is one of the most interesting I have ever encountered and every hole was interesting. Water comes into play on a number of holes and I especailly enjoyed there challenging par 3's. On a clear day the view of Mt. Ranier is spactacular and I give this course my highest recommendation. It is about an hour away from downtown Seattle but it is truly worth the drive.

This golf course probably has the best design of any course I have ever played including several big name courses in Oregon and Texas. It is a bit of a drive from the north end of Seattle but I usually play it several times per year. Approach shots require thought and accuracy. Greens are the best of all public courses in this price range. Must be the Bethpage Black of the northwest.

Customer Service

Service can be bad. Play gets real slow when inexperienced golfers are on the course. Don't count on marshalls.

beautiful course. A diamond in the ruff. Get there early and the early rates are great for the way the course plays. Lovesd the views of mount rainier. Great shots over water that made the par 3's long and tough.

Customer Service

great

Shoot in the 80s

This course offered the ultimate combination of challenges for all types of golfers. With 400+ yard par 4's and 3 out of 4 par 3's being played over water, both accuracy and distance find holes where they are rewarded. Most of the holes are carved out of the surrounding forest with water coming into play on a large number of holes. Just a short drive south of Seattle and still relatively uncrowded since it only opened a short time ago.
