A great course if you're not too serious. Play can be slow with lots of beginners playing but it's only golf...so relax and enjoy the low cost and nice scenery.

Customer Service

Very nice people run the course.

Good course for beginners. Cheap green fees and short holes. Conditions are only good for beginners.

Probably the best value in the county. Rates are very reasonable. Tee times are generally no problem at all. It's an executive style 18 hole course. Holes # 3 and 12 are rather brutal for those walking. Very steep inclines particularly on # 12. The good news is that the views are very appealing, particularly from the snack bar seating area over the 10th tee. Just fabulous. Greens could use some work. Even in the fairly dry summer of '03, they are rather slow and spongy. In general, this is a great course for working your fairway woods and iron play. Only a few holes would warrant a driver coming out of the bag.

Shoot in the 90s

One of the Northwest's hidden gems. It's far enough from Seattle/Bellevue that only those who are serious head there, yet close enough you won't use up a whole day headed up there. If you catch some breaks with traffic, it's a less than an hour from Seattle, 50 minutes if SR-522 is clear.

It's a short course, yet thoughtfully designed. There's not much sand, but the pond locations are placed to discourage macho men from driving the greens. Compounding things are the numerous blind shots. Hole sixteen is US Open caliber. Hackers can drive the green with a 3 wood, but the tee shot is blind and the green is almost entirely fronted by water. Hit the driver and you face an uphill second shot back to the green from serious rough.

Oh yeah, the hills. Hole three is a steep uphill par four. I heard the course was hilly and figured that the third was the extent of it. That was until I saw the twelfth. It's a par three, the only par three in the world that features a switchback. Nice view from the green though.

Shoot in the 100s

One of the few 18 hole courses left in Snohomish County that is

1. affordable

2. easy to get tee times almost any day

3. full of terrific views

Fairways are generally short and straight. Greens small and level. #10 is a temp half of the season because the regular one is in low area that stays wet until late Spring.

Snackbar at the 10th Tee has a nice covered area to sit down, relax and make snide remakes as other golfers tee off directly below.
