Shoots in the 90s

My favorite local course. I think this is a great muni course. Reasonable rates, especially twilight, and pretty well maintained. back 9 a little more challenging than the front, and some interesting holes ... blind, up down, double dogleg, over a ravine, etc. You will lose some balls here unless you have good control ... but not excessive. Some nice long holes, too. Wonderful place to practice with decent challenge, unless you are a 70's golfer, probably. Can play by yourself in down periods. Also a 9 hole par 3 type course available for family/learning, and great covered driving range (mats). Large putting area, and small chipping area off to side. Basically, everything you'd want at your local course, for a good price. I feel lucky. Started here 2 years ago at 120, down to 90 now ... so has been good for my development ... not intimidating to start learning, but still challenging now. I LOVE MEADOWPARK!

Customer Service

Nice people, always, and good food in the restaurant. Sit outside on a sunny day and watch the practice putters and chippers.

Shoots in the 70s

This is one of my favorite courses!! The front nine is fairly unassuming, some short par fours with a little risk reward factor, different shaped holes make you work the ball bot ways off of the tee. Trees everywhere can make this little course very interesting in a hurry, best results will probably come from a 3 wood or long iron off the tee. Pretty much on cruise control until you hit the back nine. Holes 12-15 are a great test of skill. 13 is a short par 3 over a massive green, framed nicely with giant pines on both sides of the hole. 14 is the coolest hole on the course. The tee box is about 30 or 40 feet above the left to right fairway which also slopes laft to right. The green is small and has several difficult ridges and undulations. This is definetly not the longest course in the world but the smallish greens and many trees make it very important to find the fairway from the tee. It''''s also fairly cheap to play and usually in great shape.
