Historic, scenic setting, on a rolling, not at all borring, lush green course. Well placed sand traps, and lakes to keep your attention.

It isn't in Florida or some southern State where it could be open fully year round.

This Golf course was rated as a four star establishment in 1998. The business was established in 1991 and 18 holes have been in use since 1993. I reviewed and photographed the entire course for an insurance review. I have been a lover of golf since early childhood as a caddy. The greens are ALL Green with nice dips and slopes that keep you working. The facility is a well maintained and well supervised. The main clubhouse (40' x 70') with snack bar, pro shop, and office area is connected in a modular type structure that is wood frame. The exterior eating and meeting facility is great for small or large group needs. Located in close proximaty to the D.C. beltway makes it an easy drive out of the rush of life in the fast lane, to the wide open calm country side. The driving range is off to it's self and has a row of trees protecting adjacent fairways from stray golf balls. The entire fleet of golf carts are maintained and in good condition and kept in an open fenced area between the main club house and maintenance buildings during off hours. Only licenced drivers are permited to operate carts.
