Lake Park Golf Course is one of the worst courses in the entire country. The layout and hole designs are some of the most boring I've ever seen and experienced right up there with Currie, and the conditioning of the course is just horrid and an insult to anybody that bothers to pay the greens fees which should be about $3 dollars for how much the course is worth. It's like a lawn mower never even touched the course - I don't think there even is a fairway. All the grass on the supposed tees and fairways look like my front lawn after two weeks of not mowing. There are potholes and grassless spots everywhere. The greens are about a 2 on the stimpmeter and like putting through velcro. Coke in the vending machine on the course is a huge scam and insult at $2.00 for a small can of coke that I can get at the store at a price of 24 cans for $2.50.

Nice setting, lots of water, 27 holes. The Blue 9 is more wide open but I think has a more interesting layout. Goose droppings EVERYWHERE, especially on the greens. Not very well maintained, and way overpriced given the conditions. Also, the clubhouse staff could use a course in customer service. Very unfriendly, almost as if it is a bother to have all those golfers around.

Overall the course could be very good. 27 holes - 3 nines red, white and blue. The red is least difficult, while the blue is more difficult. Par 3 5th on the blue is a fun uphill! Big problem with this couse is they are not user friendly, pace of play is not monitored well and the owner does not seem to re-invest any money into the course. Something needs to be done about the geese!!! We all call this course the goose crap open!

Golf course is not worth the money. $17 on weekends is bogus. The geese leave this place a mess and it appears eat holes in the greens. IN addition the lady in the clubhouse, I believe her name was Heather, told me she would chop my legs off if she saw me riding in a cart and was very discourteous. The other things I dislike is the short rough which is the same length as the fairway and the greens are often cut poorly.

Customer Service

Poor. People don't seem to care at all about you as the customer.

I play here once a week or more. There are 27 holes with each 9 having a different personality. The red and blue courses have much water so you need some degree of accuracy unless you like to buy golf balls. The course is well maintained. However, there are flocks of geese. They don''t interfere with the game; however, the droppings are sometimes anoying.

Customer Service

Good service at the restaurant/bar. Food is great.

27 holes, the Red 9 is a nice layout, open but you still have to play well to score. The white 9 is long and very tough, lots of long par 4’s and only 1 par three and 1 par 5. The blue 9, opening 2 holes are some of the toughest in the area. Need to be positioned correctly to score on these 2 holes, with 2nd shots being played over water.

Overall the course is in good condition but could use some work on the up keep to get it a notch above where it is. Pretty good value.
