Shoots in the 80s

I'm a firm believer of taking the time to support people or things you feel are beneficial/worthwhile. Let me start by saying the bog has to be the most challenging course i've ever played. I'm your average 12 handicap golfer and this perfectly maintained masterpiece gave me a run for my money. My favorite hole was definitely 16. It's a dog leg left with a major water hazard so you get the best of both worlds here. The fairways were perfect and the greens were quick. Anyone can make greens fast but these roll true. Other than checking in I really didnt have much contact with the staff but I can say he was very attentive. The other major curve ball to this whole experience was the price. I hadnt played the Bog prior due to the cost but our group got $100.00 off through this new book called "My" Birdie Book. The Bog offered a 4 golfers for the price of 3 in the Birdie Book so we saved a on one full tee time which was about $100.00 even. I would recommend this state discount golf book to anyone interested in playing The Bog or just about any other course. It's only $20.00 and covers the state. Here the link if you are interested and i'm pretty sure they do free shipping. http://www.mybirdiebook.com Overall I would rank The Bog a 9 out of 10 and a great course for any skill level golfer. The Bog is top notch and when the Birdie Book gets you in at such a good deal it becomes hard to pass up. Thanks for a great time!

One of the best golf courses you can find in the state. Great scenery and variety of nice looking holes. Conditioning is very good. The Bog is also one of the more difficult golf courses in the state and shouldn't be played by inexperienced golfers or golfers who shoot above 80. Those golfers who do complain about the layout or design of the course are poor golfers themselves and want every course to fit their idea of a perfect hacker course. This is a very good course that is overpriced at $90 - $120 and would be more worth $60 - $85.

Shoots in the 80s

Probably one of the most overrated courses around; especially for the money. Although the course is very well maintained, I found it not very enjoyable to play. It has too many blind shots and too many tee shots where the tee box is below the fairway. I much prefer elevated tee boxes. The club house is a joke for a course charging this much for greens fees.

Customer Service

Good.
