Shoots in the 70s

Played the 18 hole Oaks course. Played gold tees that play around 6200 yards. All par 5's played under 500 yds and were reachable in 2. Par 4's were not difficult at all, but the par 3's would test you as most played 180 or better. Overall it was in pretty good shape. Decent greens, above avg fairways and rough. Bunkers were very inconsistant. Either fluffy or hard. Would have no problem playing again and would recommend. Next time probably play from the tips!

Customer Service

Got us in on short notice, but it was during the week. Friendly, but reserved. I'm sure if you are a regular they are more attentive. Had a clinic going on the day we played, so it appears they offer more that just 27 holes of golf.

nothing comes to mind. Each hole is fairly unique. Some you have to play target golf, others you can grip n rip. Par 5's need length.

Shoots in the 70s

Overall, Christmas Mountain is a great course, featuring 27 challenging holes. The Oaks 18 is always in superb condition and makes the golfer use every club in the bag. However, the Pines 9 can be very tedious and questionably layed out. First of all, nearly every hole is lined with towering pine trees that often impede the golfer from making good shots. A great tee shot isn't any good on a few holes because there is almost always a tree in your way. The 8th hole doesn't require a driver off the tee, but the golfer is always left with a challenging shot uphill approximately 80 feet to a tough green. What makes it worse is the fact that a ball anywhere in the fairway must be hit with a left to right shot trajectory to snake around some hanging tree limbs. This course is very frustrating. Overall, it is a great course and is worth every penny; just avoid the Pines 9.

Customer Service

There is an aura of superiority lingering in the clubhouse and proshop that can be discouraging.

Because it is a resort/timeshare there are numerous cabins on most of the holes. Therefore, it is not very scenic.

Christmas Mountain is a very nice course in the middle of the state. The course winds its way through many trees and goes through some more open areas and has nice holes. The course has good conditions and is a good course to play if you are near the Wisconsin Dells area.

Shoots in the 70s

One of the most scenic courses in the state. Nestled in the bluffs and ski hills. This course is truely worth every penny. Play before June 15 or in Sept. for cheaper rates, still $58.00 during the summer is well worth it. We played the Oaks and the back nine is more wooded and spectacular

Customer Service

Excellent. Very strict about pace of play.
