3 Crowns Golf Club - Golf courses, Casper, Wyoming

DESCRIPTION

3 Crowns is a well-maintained, challenging course located on what used to be an oil refinery. It is by far the best course in Central Wyoming, and it ranks among the top tracks in the region. It is a Robert Trent Jones design, which features very slick greens, plenty of sand traps and a lot of water hazards that come in to play when shooting for the green. Par 72.

In the clubhouse, there is a high end golf shop, which custom fits Callaway clubs. The Filling Station restaurant has great food.

The practice facility is awesome. The all-grass driving range and putting green are great, plus there is a short game area close by to chip and hit sand shots.

Greens fees are 60 bucks during the week, 65 on weekends. Includes cart and practice range balls.

This course is tough... if you like a challenge, definitely tee it up at 3 Crowns. The other courses in town are OK, but way too easy if you're a mid to low handicapper. This course forces you to be solid on approach shots, and tests your short game and putting stroke like no other around.
