54 holes of great golf. We played the Judge course and had a great time even with the weather being in the 40's and a 25 mph wind. Even the locals show up with over 130 players in one of their Bring your Buddy days events. This is the 1st time I played this RTJ venue and was very impressed with this site. It's well worth the trip.

Robert Trent Jones Trail in Greenville, AL is AWESOME!! This is the best kept secret from the others too - few people, like having our own course, warm, friendly folks too and helpful. We were on a girls birthday trip and Cambrian Ridge was our 4th RTJ of the week and it became our 5th too. Very challenging, interesting, beautiful and fun! If you haven't tried Cambrian Ridge in Greenville you are missing out on a wonderful experience. AND - they know how to treat the October 7th traveling birtday girls too! Definitely a place to return too as well as the Comfort Inn in Greenville, AL. Silver Lakes was also a winner to play. We actually have not been disappointed with any of the courses we have played this week but we found our favorite at Cambrian Ridge.

Customer Service

180% customer service. Helpful, courteous, friendly, gave us a birthday lunch :) Just good southern hospitality. Our thank to the assistant manager and the little gal in the pro shop plus the drink cart that kept the ice coming our way.

Played "the Judge" course. All I can tell you is this...
This place was in great shape, and is one of the best looking golf courses I've played. They spent a fortune building it and it shows. Probably the best par threes in one 18 hole round I've experienced. I would certainly go back and play the other two courses. They've made the best use of a piece of property I've seen. Wonderful place.

Customer Service

Great...everyone was very nice.

Just played the Judge course at Capital Hill in Prattville, AL. This is part of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. Without a doubt the hardest but most satisfying course I have ever played in the last 20 years. I have played 6-7 courses rated in the Top 100 by Golf Magazine and this is the best. 14 of the holes have water. Island greens, lakes and the Alabama river frame several holes. The tips play at 7800 yards. We (foursome) played the orange tees, 6700+ and it ate us up.

Customer Service

outstanding service

As a former employee, I feel I know the Senator course the best. I played it at leat twice a week in the Summer/Fall of 1999. The Legislator course had just been completed when I worked there and the Judge course(I believe that's the name) was still in the process of being completed. I loved the Scottish-links layout of the course though it caused many blind shots to the green or even off the tee due to all the hills, but every time out was an experience different from before, every day the cup location was different and almost always on a shelf. The greens were massive, not like any other public course I've played before.

Customer Service

Very personable people. Courteous and will go out of their was to assist you as fast as possible

This site has 3 different 18 hole Courses. Each Course is very well kept, with nice tee boxes and greens. The greens are huge, with each having 5 different pin locations. Usually each location is a shelf or valley, this creates some very interesting putts. Greens will hold good shots, but not poorly struck shots. This is a site that is a "must play". Bring a camera!!
