Shoots in the 70s

I read the review from the last guy who said the greens are too fast. The greens are the smae speed as most other top notch clubs, only the mountains make them very difficult to read. The greens are what makes the course so interesting and challenging.

While the course is immaculately maintained and a treasure to play, the greens ruin the experience. As you've heard from the Seniors who played their US Open there in 2008, they hated how the greens were kept. The greens-keeper obviously tries to satisfy his big ego by keeping the greens as fast as possible. Were he a better greens-keepr he would have the talent to match the speed of the green to their designs. on most any green on any of the 3 courses, you can drop a ball next to any pin position and watch it roll away 10-20 feet. No exaggeration. On some greens you can putt up to a hole in the middle of the green and watch it roll back 10 yards into the fairway (or water).

I don't recommend these courses solely on how poor of a job the greens-keeper does at finding the right speed to match the green's designs and contours. He might just as well put some clown mouths and windmills out on the greens. It's a shame, too, because the rest of the course is great. I think the greens-keeper does a disservice to this fine club and leaves players with a bad attitude towards the club in general. No good putt shall go unpunished.

Customer Service

Excellent service as you would expect from a world class resort. They all seem to know that you expect top notch responses to your needs and inquiries and meet that expectation.

Not as challenging as expected...I played both the east and west courses. Although pristine and well manicured, these courses didn't offer much terrain change and twists. For being so incredibly prestigious, I guess I was expecting so much more.

Customer Service

Very good!
