Excellent course. Truly a pleasure to play this course as long as the wind isn't blowing 40 mph. Very well maintained from tee to green. Inexpensive considering how nice the course is. The best course in Western Kansas.

A beautiful, well kept golf course. Gorgeous, challenging and relatively inexpensive. If you are out west in Kansas, this is a MUST GOLF.

You would never think that such a fine Golf Course would exist in the middle of nowhere. This course rates up there as good as any I have played. It is a pleasure to play on carpet like fairways and creative tee placements.

Customer Service

Excellent. Very laid back and you do not get that snobby attitude as some other ritzy places provide for free.

This course is beautiful and wonderfully maintained year-round. I just moved from SW Kansas to Central Texas and while there are many nice courses here, none of them are as challenging or inexpensive as Buffalo Dunes. Try weekday green fees of twelve or thirteen dollars! The major drawback to Buffalo Dunes is that it is in the middle of nowhere and unfortunately not worth a trip out to SW Kansas just for golf. And believe me, that would be the only reason to go to Garden City. If you do go, there is a beautiful and sinister nine hole course in Satanta, KS about 50 miles away from Garden City. This course is devilish when the wind is blowing, which for Kansas is all the freakin'' time. If this course was eighteen holes it would be better than Buffalo Dunes. The course superintendent''s name is Roger something. If he''s still there, this course is a diamond in the very deep rough.

Customer Service

Excellent course but the staff are a bit snooty. They think they''re a country club.
