Shoots in the 90s

Wow, this course is one of the best that I have played. I would say it's the 3rd best course that I have played behind Old Silo and Lafayette. Of course that's just my opinion though. The course has a few holes that have breathtaking views from the tee box. The greens were real fast and rolled really good. The fairways were perfect on all of the holes that weren't being airated but I can't blame them for wanting to take care of their golf course. All aound it is a truly solid golf course.

This really is a great course. As I'm always looking for a good deal, it's best to go in the winter months. I played 54 holes one day for 30 bucks w/cart. That's pretty sweet. The conditions are terrific, the layout is great, and the story behind "The Bull" is pretty interesting as well.

Customer Service

Okay. They kind of have their chin up a little bit.

Should''ve played gold (2nd from back) tees instead, but a great course nonetheless. The Bull is a scenic course located in Richmond, KY (about 15-20 minutes from Lexington). The course is taken care of very well with nicely cut fairways, and rough with semi-difficult greens. This course has a few blind shots created by elevated and/or lowered holes and fairways slope pretty well on many holes. #10 for example requires a tee shot aimed at the far right side of the fairway in order to hit the fairway because it has a severe slope from right-to-left down towards a water hazard that borders the hole on the left. Club selection has to be considered carefully on many holes as yardages do not play what they say (wind, elevations, etc.). You will likely shoot above your handicap on this course, so come with low expectations (which actually helps your game). A terrific value for the rates and will be a favorite of mine for years to come.

A nice driving range as well with many open stations to hit it.
