If anybody wonders what the game of golf would be like after a nuclear explosion, look no further than Beverly Golf and Tennis.What has happened to that course under the Johnson Management Group is almost criminal.The place has gone to hell.There is nobody playing there,the course looks terrible. I feel badly for anybody who has a membership. What was once a model for city owned golf facilities is now a disgrace.I only hope it can be salvaged when Johnson's contract runs out.In the meantime avoid this place like the plague.Not even worth going to for free.

Always in great condition, and has some challangin holes but also has some holes that are easy pars.

This course is one of the best maintaned courses in the area, It has a very tough first hole, its a 440 yard par 4 with the toughest green i have ever played. The course also has a 571 yard par 5, and a 230 yard par 3.

There are some very challanging holes starting with #1,#2 #3etc......Ther are sum bail out areas but not a ton.

The green could be cut a little tighter for me but the course get a lot of play throught the season and remains in excellent shape! Kudos to the grounds-keeping crew!

This course has been superbly maintained by the freil mngt. group for the last 10+ years.The tee's are in great shape, the fairways are beautiful,and the greens are very receptive.I think this has too the course beeing over 85 years old. This is a beautiful play it if you can.It is a semi private course so call for public times.
