Not many public golf courses have spectacular and consistent greens. The layout is ok, but they were renovating and adding bunkers last year. A great clubhouse and what seems to be lots of entertaining public tournamets. A great place to call my home course.

Customer Service

Not to often do I feel welcome and the rangers and desk staff were perfect. They were very down to earth unlike other public courses in the area.

Model Reviewed: Brookmeadow

Disapponting conditions. Many large bare spots in fairways and the rough forcing many unplayable lies. I nearly broke my 6 iron off a hidden rock. Waited on almost every tee.

The greens were in great shape and there is a very nice club house & pro shop. Unfortunately, I did not think the course value was representative of the fees.

Customer Service

Fair... wrote a note to the superintendent and got a one sentence response ;-)

Played several times this year. Convenient location, nice new clubhouse, and adjacent range are the best features here. The layout of the course is a bit plain. After the 4th hole, it gets rather straight and open. When weather has been wet,on any consistent basis, course gets/stays real wet. Not bad when dry.

Customer Service

Staff is pretty friendly. Rangers aren't high pressure.
One bad thing here is there isn't much value. Very rarely do they offer discounts - even in early season when the course is in rough shape.

Nice layout and probably a nice course during droughts when there's only a little water on the course. Unfortunately, there was water everywhere. Also, we had to wait at every single tee. Made for very slow play and resulted in a six-hour round of golf. Almost painful.

The course is built on an existing wetlands - hence the name. The course is flat and several holes are usually soggy. The layout is unimaginative. In the past year or so, the management has been working to upgrade the look and feel with improved landscaping around the tees and greens.

Customer Service

On weekends they run a 9:00 AM shotgun start with 2 sets of foursomes at each hole - except the par 3's. It ensures a full house for them but it takes all day to play - I personally don't like waiting at every hole.

They just built a new clubhouse with an excellent banquet facility and upgraded the parking lot.

Fairly challenging course mainly due to many short holes that really make club section essential. Only a few holes call for a driver to be used. Tee boxes and fairways were in pretty good shape but that greens were sub-par. They were very fast and somewhat bumpy.

Looks like a real nice club house is being built...
