Shoots in the 90s

This course has really been improved over the last 2 or 3 years. I haven't played this year but if last year was any indication both tees and greens should be excellent. Course is only a short 9 hole set up but features two tough (200+ yards) par 3s. All greens are tight which makes landing them challenging even for good players.

Shoots in the 100s

great course to play for beginners. a bit far out of boston. golf pro steve really nice guy, as are all the staff. Took lessons there last year, improved my game. Holes not too difficult, some shotmaking required, esp hole 4, 8. Fast front to back green on 9, very deceptive.

Customer Service

Great service in mini pro shop.

Shoot in the 100s

Chelmsford CC is a great place for beginners like me. It's a peaceful place and the people are friendly. It doesn't seem very expensive either. I don't have anything else that I've played to compare it to but I know I like and would recommend it.

Shoot in the 80s

This is the old Apple Country Club and you would never recognize it. The course is now owned by the Town and run by Sterling Golf Management.

Greens are small but excellant condition and putt very true.

Six tees have been rebuilt and are in excellant condition, the other three are fair but are scheduled to be rebuilt soon.

Fairways are tight and contoured, 7 & 8 that were very wet were just renovated, what a differance!

Overall the course is short and tight, great for the beginner taking in the game and not looking for too much trouble but also a joy and challange for a quick nine for the low handicapper.

If you havent been there for a few years it is amust play course.

Great friendly staff and a relaxing place to play!
