Shoots in the 80s
I played this course a year or so ago, and we caught it on a day after a lot of rain. So the fairways were very wet. Black Mountain has it's issues with conditioning, but a lot of it has to do with a lack of drainage. It is probably a bit overpriced for what you get, but overall it's not a bad track. Customer Service No problems here. They checked us in and let us tee off. |

Golf course was played in the fall and was in horrible shape. The fairways had just been aerated and there was literally no grass. Course layout was fun at times and ridiculous at others. Par 3's were either 85 yards downhill or 240 yards. There is also a par 6 that simply is just a wasted use of land. Greens are small and filled with pohanna grass. OVerall I give this course a 1 on a scale of 1-10. The rates weren't even good. ($35 on weekday). I won't be back.Note, balls lost were plugged in fairway.... Customer Service Very Friendly. Similar Products Used: No driving range, very large putting green that normally is full of students from the local high school. |
