Shoots in the 70s

If you hate slow play, try cedar valley during the week. Augusta is the better course, International has to many wide open holes. Lots of water but on most holes you really have to miss the fairway bad to get wet. Great course for the money. Great staff. Dormant bermuda fairways a little beaten down in feb-april. Tee boxes looked rought last time I played but are usually good. Beautiful layout, 6 par 3's and 4 par 5's. The greens looked real good and rolled very consistent, medium speed. Rough is very mild, not too many places to lose a ball. No sand. My favorite course because you can play fast and it's affordable, friendly staff.

Shoot in the 90s

Great course for mid to high handicappers. Most fairways are fairly wide open. However, the cedar trees can come into play if you're not careful on some holes and it can be difficult to get back onto the fairway. The greens are consistent and medium fast. Just enough water to keep it interesting but really only a couple of holes that can really mess with your mind! The layout is both beautiful and makes sense. They have two 18 hole courses to choose from. Both are great courses! If you want to play on the less crowded course choose International. But, if you choose International you don't return to the club house on the turn. They do have a concession stand.

Customer Service

Tee times are taken one week in advance over the phone and the course is never overly crowded.

Shoot in the 70s

This is a great layout and design, with many challenging holes. Tees are always in good shape! Fairways are pretty wide open, but don't get behind one of the million pine trees that are in the rough. Some times you can have a blind shot due to the trees impeding your view, however, you can escape relatively easy. No bunkers on this course, which is by design and wonderful for you non-Lawerence Arabia types. Some water, but not enough to worry about! A fair challenge for any one that can shoot 70 to 170. The people that work in the pro-shop and restaurant are the friendliest people in the world! Duffy Martin is a super and funny host, and I guarantee you he hasn't met a man that he was not become eventual friends with for life! Ask him about the hilarious handy-gas-machine! He will sell you one, and it cracks me up every time I use it in the elevator on a new victim!
