Central Valley is a course set into a very mountainous area of the Hudson Valley. Thus water is not in play, but uphill and downhill holes are numerous. There are no championship tees and while the course yardage is relatively short, the numerous uphill climbs make up for it. While walking is an option, I'd advise against it. There is also no difference in the greens fee between walking and riding, so take the good quality cart.

Compared to the fees of the vast majority of courses in the area, this one is a good value. $40 weekday with $30 twilight after 2pm.

Many of the tee shots are through a narrow shoot in the trees, so accuracy off the tee is paramount.

Customer Service

Very good. Always accommodating and friendly. They recommend getting a tee time but are willing to work with you if you don't have one.

Great course, bad layout. The crew keeps the course looking as best as they can. I believe with a little bit more money into the course they could turn it around and have a better showing.

Customer Service

Pretty good, get you in and out and go play.
