Shoots in the 80s

The Snoqualmie river meanders around this flat course. This has been a very dry year, so the course was playable in February .... but most years it would probably not be. I joined a twosome as the first group of the day in heavy fog ... cold ... it IS located in a river valley, with a wildlife marsh preserve nearby .... so expect nippy mornings. Since no one was ahead of us, we finished in 2.5 hours. Not a difficult course in layout, though there are a few nice shorter holes carved out of the woods, and the river and some small ponds come into play on a number of holes ... just enough to keep you honest. The clubhouse was being remodeled, so there was no real service or food--bummer on a cold winter day! All in all, a solid basic golf experience, especially for newer golfers, or if you just need a change of pace. I did think it was a little overpriced, even at my lastminutegolfer online discount .... there just werent; enough amenities or difficulty to support a $35 fee, even with a cart .... (which were in not great shape). But I did like the "out in the woods" feeling ...

Shoots in the 70s

Should be a $20 course tops. Very easy, but wet conditions year round are the biggest problem here. Many beginners play this course. Good range.

Shoot in the 80s

Carnation Golf Course is located in the Snoqualmie Valley, about 40 minutes East of Seattle. Like the other courses in the Snoqualmie/Carnation/Fall City area, it plays pretty short and conditions aren't always that great due to the heavy rainfall an occasional flooding that the valley experiences. It's a good course to practice on, but nothing fancy. Water comes into play on three or four holes. Most of the holes are straight-ahead and the entire course is flat. Greens are small, but in better condition than the rest of the course. Beginners love this course!
