Shoots in the 100s

Won't knock your socks off with views or memorable layout. Fairways and greens were in great condition (1 week after USBank Championship). The rough was killer: almost hit the wrong ball out of rough - mine was 8 inches away - 5 inches and THICK. Front nine lulls you while the back nine, and some sloping greens, slips you the knife when you aren't looking. Easy to see a round get away from you.

Customer Service

Not good. $40 rental of used (6 year old) Callaway. They couldn't care less - they work for the County.

Brown Deer G.C. is a good golf course which has some holes that are challenging and nice looking but overall is very average compared to the top 25 courses in the state.

Tight tree-lined fairways, nice bunkering, great greens. Traditional old-style course, nasty when the winds pick up even a little.

The course is always in very good shape, although it's a BORING layout! That's my primary complaint. It's a good challenging course, although you come to think to yourself, "Didn't I just play this hole?" Lots of out and back 440 yard par 4's straight, minimal dog leg holes...Plays pretty slow too, like most Milwaukee County courses...Also, if you're not a County resident, there are other MUCH better courses in the area for the same price or cheaper. Check out Washington County or Kettle Hills (Ponds/Woods).

Great course. Very difficult roughs. Great place to play before of after GMO. Very pricey to non-county residents.

Great course, one of the hidden gems in the Milwaukee area. It's an old course feel with lots of updates and a great design. Love to play there just before or just after the GMO
is played in early July. It's a very wooded course and has tight fairways and good rough.
