Slow play, mediocre conditions, shabby dress and no golf etiquette make this a "one and done" for me. Lots of better quality courses in the area. You get what you pay for.

Customer Service

Starter was very nice. Pro shop person was almost too busy on the phone to take my money. Saw the beverage cart twice in 5 hours.

None similar - most were quite a bit better overall.

Shoots in the 80s

I played this course for the 1st time this weekend with a friend and all that I can say is ...WOW! This is one of the worst courses that I've ever played! It's one thing to have a course slope of 128 but when a golfer hits a drive, center cut in the middle of the fairway, time after time ...at least provide some grass to hit the 2nd shot from. There is nothing like hitting a 300 yard drive in the center of the fairway and contiuously having to hit out of deadpan from the center of the fairway. Also, a bathroom on the course would be nice and a Marshal to speak with, when the kids in the group behind us, in t-shirts and cut offs, hit into you on consecutive holes would be nice as well. Oh yeah, a Marshal would have been nice to speak with also, after the kid playing in the group in front of us, played my ball that he thought that he had hit on my fairway!!! He got a Callaway HX Tour ...I got a Cougar golf ball. (BTW, he hit my ball into the water as I approached him to tell him what I thought) The greens were unfair and unreadable. This is great if you give me some grass on the fairway to hit off of instead of a pasture, where it looks like a herd of buffalo have grazed. I love challenging greens but not when you mix that with pasture for a fairway Great course for hackers and red necks.

Customer Service

The bleach blond at the counter couldn't figure out that my change from $30, in which the green fee was $27.50, should have been $2.50 ...I had to explain it to her. Sad but true!

The clubhouse had a pool table and NASCAR was playing on the TV in the "clubhouse" ...you can take it from there.

Shoot in the 90s

A very solid track. Rolling landscape and good mix of holes. Course is always in excellent shape, and the greens are very consistent. Gets about 25000 rounds a year. One of the best values in the area. 9th hole is a 459 yard par 4 that can require a 3 wood or a 8 iron in to the water protected green, depending on the prevailing winds. No gimmicks. I drive a hour to get here, passing many other courses.
