Summary: bought this wedge for $90 cnd, with the lower bounce it allows for better shots off the fairway; however, it takes a while to get used to when hitting out of the sand. the square grind allows for an easier set up and comes through the ball square to the target. would recommend this club to some who plays on dry and fast course, as the low bounce comes through the cleaner.

Summary: Bought these wedges at a good price from Callaway Pre-owned in 'Like New' condition. First thing you realize is that the grips are just to get the club out the door. Replaced with a midsized Lamkin smooth tour wrap, which dialed in the wedges for me.
These are forged carbon steel wedges with a satin finish. Glare is not an issue.
Very soft feel and the wedges hold greens great. Good spin and great out of the sand.
The sole grind is different than other wedges out there allowing it to be forgiving from the sand IMHO. You can throw it at the hole and it will check close and not run off the green like some other clubs.
My short game has gotten better as a result of these wedges. I am starting to dip into the eighties from time to time now.
Good weighting helps get through the rough around the green also. These are the wedges I am using now. My previous wedges were Bazooka Jmax which were very good as well, but the hogans seem to hit it tighter to the flagstick for me.
Golfsmith has been moving these from $40-$50 bucks lately and they are hard to beat at that price.
Definitely worth a try if in the market for new wedges.

Summary: After buying, and loving, the Hogan Apex Edge Pro irons I thought I'd give these a try. The Apex Edge Pro pitching wedge is at 46 degrees so I thought going 4 degree spread on the scoring clubs might benifit me. Boy did it ever!!! Having the extra wedge in the bag with a good even spread of distance on a normal swing has done wonders. The clubs are definitely Hogans, good weighting, butter feel, good distance control, good value (much cheaper than titliest or cleveland). Only knocks I have are the grips are not the best (replaced right away) and as with all chrome high loft clubs, you get a bit of uncomforting glare at set up if the sun is at the right place in the sky. Overall, a very good line of wedges with lots of degree options to choose from.

Summary: Overall these wedges are great..they look amazing and i got them at a good price on EBAY, so it was a win win. They have a bit more offset then normal wedges but you dont notice it when u hit them(they say it allows you to work the ball more), they have a nice soft touch thanks the carbon steel, were very easy to hit and great for attacking the pin. The stock grips were horrible so i replaced them with WINN MASTER WRAPS..other then that they are they best wedges i have hit so far, hopefully ill break into the 70's with these bad boys...if u have the coin or find these at a good price u will fall in love with them!!! GREAT WEDGES
