Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Hogan 5010 Fairway Wedge Summary: A fabulous and deadly accurate scoring club that is extremely versatile. I had mine re-shafted with a Rifle 5.5 Spinner at +1/4" and adjusted the lie to 2 degrees upright. Awesome results. I no longer need to carry a Pitching Wedge, as this club will produce just as much distance on a full swing with incredible feel and control. Results are equally impressive when chipping from greenside rough. I simply cannot say enough good things about this wedge. I also carry a Hogan 5610 Sand Wedge with an identical set-up (Rifle 5.5 Spinner, + 1/4",2* up) and have seen my short game and sand play improve dramatically. Customer Service: Excellent. The guys at Ft. Worth are very helpful and accomodating. Similar Products Used: Titleist, Ping Eye 2+, Taylor Made

Shoots in the 80s
, from Alamogordo, NM Model Reviewed: Ben Hogan Special Wedge 5010 Summary: I can't say enough good things about this wedge. Not only it is aesthetically pleasing, it is also very easy to hit - at least that is my perception. For a player like myself, shooting in the mid-to-high 80's, using a gap wedge like this one has taken the guess work out of those iffy 100-yard (or so) approach shots. No more debating about half or 3/4 swings, just use the 5010 wedge and let it rip 100-105 yards or so. An added benefit, the club doubles as a strong sand wedge if I need to carry a larger portion of the green. Use it in tandem with either Hogan's 54 or 56 degree sand wedges for best short game results.
