Callaway 9.5" Staff - Nib-lock

Summary:
The bag looks good from the outside and understand why anyone would fall in love with it from the start. I have owned it for more than 9 months and have no major complaints about the bag. The only thing to consider if you are looking to buy this bag is that the plastic body underneath the leather-like exterior is actually quite flimsy and and bends easily. On occassions, I have to manually fix the internal dents. The nib-lock system does come in handy to protect expensive clubs. The only thing is that depending on the position of the clubs you have to work it a little to get it to lock. The clothing pocket is roomy and will allow you to store a windshirt sweater or shoes. Nice secure valuables pocket. Overall, happy with the bag except for the occassional dents.

Customer Service:
Excellent customer service - Company very helpful.

Callaway Staff bag

Summary:
I'm not sure what models the other reviewers are using but this staff bag is very functional. Mine has a true 9.25 top opening and stands 35 inches tall. The bag has 2 front pockets and 1 back pocket but the really nice part about this bag is the 2 large zippered side pockets. The minimal front pockets makes it ideal for a cart even for a staff bag. It is well constructed anf stiched very well. It is even nicely lined including the rain/travel cover which more heavy duty than most. The bottom handle makes it a cinch to lift and put in your car or SUV. Plenty of room for clubs and clothing. Overall one f the best designs I ever saw. Again, Callaway made many Staff models over the years. I guess I got one of the better designs.

Customer Service:
Excellent

Callaway Hawkeye 9.5 Tour Staff Bag

Summary:
Bag looks absolutely stunning but that's about it. If you have a caddy that will take your bag to your cart then this is the bag for you. Otherwise, it's very heavy and lacks a bottom handle for lifting. You are forced to lift the bag using the single handle because there are no others. This bag is so heavy that it actually caused the cart strap to loosen and the whole bag fell off of the golf cart the other day spraying my precious VFT woods and X-14s all over the street. Pocket size is fine but the number of pockets is limited. It really needs to have a couple more pockets especially considering that the bag is so large. I am going to buy a Callaway Diamondback or Taylor Made Cart bag to replace this one. It's just not that useful for casual golfing. Maybe for a big tournament but not for quick trips to the range or 9 holes after work.

Customer Service:
No need

Reviewed by: Scott ,  Shoot in the 70s , from Gainesville, Fl USA

Summary:
I have had this bag for two years. Even though I play weekly, this bag should have lasted for longer than this. The material has fallen apart, all the stitching has come apart, and the zippers have rusted. It is not worth the postage I paid to get it. I have an old carry bag that has lasted for seven years, and only paid $90 for it. This is definately not a quality product.
