Callaway HX Pearl

Summary:
I found one of these last week and used it today. What a ball! No shortage of distance and tremendous around the green. I don't understand why this has to be a 'womans ball'.

Pearl

Summary:
Great ball. Feels like a lower compression ball on full swings, even though it's actually not rated that low. Driver distance is right there with Noodle+ for me, but the + does have a little more snap off the face, however the Pearl is definitely superior to the + around the greens. I actually took a little cover off a pearl on a hard full wedge, something that never happens with Titleist DT's and Noodles. It does (unfortunately) also spin more off the driver then the above balls, so if you really struggle with a slice, look elsewhere, but if your looking for a low-mid compression balls with good feel and spin around the greens, this may be the ball for you.

HX PEARL

Summary:
FOUND A PEARL AND USED IT. LIKED IT. BOUGHT A DOZEN. EXCELLENT BALL FOR COOL WEATHER. ABOUT 10 TO 15 YARDS LONGER THAN PRO V1 AT 60 DEGREES. EXTER HEIGHT WITH SHORT IRONS SO WILL STICK ON GREENS. ROLLS FASTER OFF PUTTER. HARD TO GET USE TO ON FAST GREENS. FINE ON SLOW GREENS.

Callaway HX Pearl Golf Balls

Summary:
This is the best ball I have found out there for women. It rolls down the fairway on drives, back spins with the wedge when shootong for the green and feels soft when putting. The price is pretty decent for a three piece ball. We have tried just about every ladies golf ball out there and this one is the best for us. It is also very bright white so it makes it easier to spot. Great job Callaway.

Customer Service:
Callaway's customer service is excellent. I called them in order to find out how to purchase 2 head covers and they sent them to me, free of charge!

HX Pearl

Summary:
Played with new HX Pearl yesterday. The specs as listed by Callaway on their web site are identical to the HX Hot, but the ball feels and plays much softer. I have an 80-85 mph swing speed and this ball launches much higher than the HX Hot, to the point where I teed a bit lower on drives to get same/usual launch. Distance for my slower swing speed was about plus 5-10 yds with the driver and no change on irons, although it was much easier to get the ball airborne. Pitches, chips and putts were about the same as HX Hot though the ball felt softer. All in all a very good ball and one worth trying for all us "non gorillas".
