Callaway Fusion 3 wood

Summary:
I purchased a Callaway ERC Fusion driver and it changed my game so much that I decided to purchase the Fusion 3 wood. I always hit my 3 wood well but I figured why not get a better one. I bought this on EBAY for $30 and it was a STEAL! These clubs are like rocket launchers! They go so high, far, and straight that I sometimes have a problem seeing them land. The feel of the shots during impact are amazing and I'll never switch again. Go buy this 3 wood and other Callaway woods. They've turned me from a high 90's player to a low 80's player almost immediately.

Callaway Fusion fairway wood

Summary:
Difficult to hit?

I can't see how these are difficult to hit. They go a country mile.

I have a 3,4,7 and 9 in the bag. I prefer the 7 and 9 to hybrids.

I was playing the Speed LD F speed in 3 and 5 wood with 2 hybrids and I went for the Fusion 4 wood on a whim.

After 1 round I switched for the Callaway fusion's.

I like them a great deal.

I play 5 days a week and post a 4.4 index on a 143 sloped private course.

fusion big bertha 5 wood

Summary:
I bought this wood after finding a deal, $100 with the Fujikura Fit On shaft. I love hitting this club off the tee. The shaft requires a smooth easy swing for max distance. The feel is muted due to the carbon crown. And the feedback is not as strong compared to other woods. Some may prefer a stronger, metallic feedback; but I like the feel of composite woods and can deal with this. Off the deck, this wood may be difficult to hit for the average golfer. The head is small compared to todays woods. The rich black appearance at address is awesome, but the size will provide little confidence for inconsistent ball strikers. Just remember with Cally woods (due to the bore thru design) to take the swing back low and very slow. Still adjusting to this wood.

Customer Service:
Callaway has been slow as of late. Usually very good with email responses.

Summary:
Well, I purchased this club for $100 brand new, with the intentions of reselling it at my club. Once it arrived I was curious so I removed the plastic and had a go. WoW! After 5 shots of the deck it was in my bag! Awesome club, off the tee, too.

Callaway Fusion 3+ Fairway

Summary:
I'm not sure how anyone could find a negative in this stick?

I have played most brands and most shafts searching for something that I could call a "GO TO" club off the tee.

This thing is brilliant.

I reshafted with my driver shaft (Bi-Matrix) at 44" and had it MOI matched to my setup and I dont think I will be using a driver for a while.

Once you get over the EGO of not hitting that one monster drive in a blue moon, you soon come to enjoy the fact that you can grip and rip off the tee and not be in the bushes.

Another great quality of this club is that it is designed for use off the deck - so even though you sacrifice a bit of distance off the tee ... on the long par 5s you can have a go at them for two.

Keeping the ball low is a more natural process with this club than with the new-age drivers.

All in all - give it a go - and watch your enjoyment go up and scores impove.

Customer Service:
Excellent in the past.

Almost every Driver / Brand / Fairway wood known to man :)

But Callaway usually find their way into my permananet setup for fairway woods.
