Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: 53* 588 GW Summary: Very nice club that fits in well between my PW and SW. I use it in the 90-105 yard range with good results. I can be a little inconsistent with it sometimes. I'll pop it up or hit the occasional 130 yard head scratcher. Still it does a great job filling a need in my game.

Shoots in the 90s Model Reviewed: 53 Summary: Definitely a hard club for me to learn to hit. I'm an inconsistent golfer and have been playing with my X-14 sand wedge. Lost it (of course no one turned it in) and replaced it with a Gap wedge. I've had no problems getting out of the sand with it. I spent about two weeks learning how to hit it and now I can play three shots with it. I'm sure there is a whole world of shots waiting for me in this club. Went from game improvement wedge to Cleveland and I'm never going back. It feels solid and doesn't have that annoying bounce that assists you in mis-hitting an easy approach shot. I have gone from happy to be on the green to satisfied at ten yards from the pin. I've already decided to buy a 49* PW from Cleveland. I always thought workability meant unforgiving but I rarely mis-hit this club (where I generally mis-hit my game improvement wedge) Now my gap wedge gets alot of work where my sand wedge got alot of dust. Cleveland wedges rock and their prices on Ebay are very cheap (picked mine up for 17.50 and shipping) Similar Products Used: King Cobra GW, Callaway X-14 SW

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Cleveland 588 DSG 54 & 58 Summary: I have played the 588 line for years to an excellent level of success. At a recent Cleveland demo day, the rep sold me on switching to the new DSG(Dynamic Sole Grind) wedges. The advantage to these clubs is the ability to open them up without the leading edge coming off the ground. Sounded good to me at the time but after a few months of play with them, I could not dislike them more. They are great around the green but are absolutely terrible on full shots. Very easy to hit them fat as they always want to dig into the turf. In addition, I can hardly hit the 54 degree 100 yards when my 56 degree standard 588 travels 110 yards without difficulty. My final assessment of the DSG's is not good. With the 14 club limit, it just doesn't make sense to carry a club just for chipping. They perform so poorly on full shots that I wouldn't recommend these clubs to anyone. Customer Service: N/A Similar Products Used: Cleveland 588, Mizuno MP Series
