Summary:
These are amazing irons. I have used them for 2 years starting when i was about a 20 handicap. Right now i am a 8 handicap and still falling. These irons are great off the tee with a great feel on center hits and not much punishment of off hits. They are great out of the rough because of the big and heavy head design. The only bad thing about these irons is its hard to shape shots. Im changing to Cleveland Ta3's because of the more player like feel.

Summary:
Bought clubs from ebay (great price!!). I'm a beginner to golf (one year) and was palying with the plasticy dunlops, then some adams idea which were great, but the distance was not impressive. I bought a cobra 400sz offset driver ans was set. these irons are incredible. I recommend the regular flex for a stiff driver hitter. I use stiff shafts in my woods and the stiff shafts in these are a tad heavy, but good for building a better (more controlled) swing tempo. If you swing off you can feel it and see the ball slice bad. Yet my friend uses slingshot oss 7Iron and hits about 145 and he was impressed that I hit the same target with my PW!!! Great clubs for the price, just get ready for sore hands for the first practices. My philosophy is get good clubs that will help u learn the game, not clubs that play for you.

Summary:
I piucked these up at Edwin Watts for $300 and ended up picking up the Gap, Sand, Lob and 2 Iron off of their wesite for $45 a piece. So ended up getting them all for about $500 plus tax which is a huge bargain. I LOVE these clubs. I have not played much at all since the late 80's when I played a blade style iron with a small cavity back(Pinnacle Tungstens). The Cobra's are a dream to hit. Everything comes off the clubface square. If you hit it off the toe the ball still goes straight and almost as long as a sweet shot. Even the club does not turn in your hand but you still get good feedback. I used to hit the ball extremely high and these have clamed down my height a bit and I am about a club length longer than I was before. I have found that I don't have to swing as hard to get the same length which is allowing me to be more accurate. The clubs are also very workable. I have been able to throw some draw on a shot when needed or keep the ball down when in trouble. I also am getting more action on the ball on the green, if the ball doesn't stop dead it backs up a bit which is great.

These clubs are really making golf enjoyable.

Summary:
This is an oustanding club for the knowledgeable and discriminating golfer. It is a player's game improvement club. These are hard to find, low offset for workability with a cavity for forgiveness. Mine were custom ordered for lie, length, grip size and shaft DGS300), D-2 swingweight. The somewhat higher overall weight slows down my naturally quick tempo. All the clubs provide reliable distances and a mid trajectory, very forgiving on off center hits. The long irons are easy to hit, if you have the swing speed, and provide versatility for low shots out of trouble, a feature that doesn't come with large offset models. The wedges are also versatile, although the strong lofts require choking for distance control (a player's shot) and the 50 is very playable from the sand for long bunker shots. Knock down shots are a breeze. These clubs will be in my bag until I lose my swing speed. There is a drawback, if you can call it that, the wedges are long enough that there is a gap on the wedges from the Gap50 to the SW, if you like a lob wedge. My solution may not be for everyone but I use a Ping58 which complements the versatile Gap50 very, very well. With the dampening system, the feel is excellent, much like a forged blade. The value is tremendous. Even with the custom order the price was under $600, much better than the so called pro models which run up to $400 higher for the same features and custom orders. These are great clubs for someone looking to move from a 2 digit handicap to a single digit handicap and also for players who can no longer use blades becaues of age or lack of practice. These are not for everyone but they are definitely for players who are looking for distance, workability and forgiveness. What else is there?
