Footjoy Classic dry premier

Summary:
This shoe is truly a joy to own, comfort and style go hand in hand as far as I am concerned. I have 4 pair of Classics which I rotate, you need to look after them by ensuring they remain polished and fit shoe trees to maximise their look and fit.Once you own a pair it really is difficult to wear anything else. Be warned!! In my opinion the best that money can buy.

Customer Service:
I have received nothing but excellent service, had 2 pair refurbished to an extremely high standard at a very reasonable cost currently £43 +vat for new soles heels, internal linings and insoles

Similar Products Used:
I have a pair of Dry Joys for those wet days.

Classics Dry Premiere

Summary:
Wonderfully built shoes. Terrible quality leather - I have had the same experience with another FJ model. The leather dries out and develops seams where the top of shoe flexes from walking. Then the leather cracks. This within a year and a half of wear. I used paste polish and bees wax to condition the leather. I also alternated use of them with another pair. Otherwise, they are beautiful shoes. The construction, and support and comfort are fantastic.
3 stars for value because of cheap leather on such a beautiful shoe. 4 stars overall because they are such nice shoes. The cheap leather breaks my heart! I want them to last!

Customer Service:
Terrible. FJ has a reputation of always denying warranty claims for their shoes. I experienced this first hand with some DryJoys that I bought at full retail because of their 2-year waterproof guarantee. They started leaking just after the one year mark. They denied my claim because I didn't polish them correctly. They also recommended I rotate them with another pair of shoes.

Similar Products Used:
Footjoy -- unfortunately, they fit my feet well. I will never buy FJ's at retail again. I look for good deals on ebay because I know they won't last.

Classic Dry Premier

Summary:
Beautiful Shoes. Keep their shape. Confortable after a while. After a year of use (aproximately 80 rounds of golf), spikes came off that couldn't be screwed back on and the rubber part across the sole ripped in half. This happened to two different pair of shoes (yes Footjoy Classic Dry Premier's; $ 250 a pair), with the same amount of use. Send the first pair back to Footjoy and were replaced by a pair of brand new Classics (not Dry Premier). Send the second pair and they were sent to the factory for repair. It's been eigth weeks and I haven't seen my shoes back. Maybe Footjoy is trying to make them Custom Made specially for me!!!!.

Customer Service:
Horrible service on the shoe repair process. Quick to answer e-mails but with the "Unfortunately...." at the beginning.

Similar Products Used:
Only Footjoy, but now will consider use of another product. Nike looks good.

Summary:
Absolutely love this shoe! They are definitely worth the money. I've only had mine about 2 months, but, from what i hear, they will last you a life time if you take care of them. GREAT SHOE!!!

Summary:
By far the best fitting and most comfortable shoe on the market. Don't waste your money on cheap shoes. Look for the closeouts for under $200.00
