Heavy Putter B-1

Summary:
Many club reviews on this board are from people who have just started using their club(s) and give glowing, rave reviews based on an initial reaction. I've now had my B-1 Heavy Putter for nearly 3 years, and it is by far the best putter I've ever had. 3 years in my bag is like dog years; I used to change equipment frequently.
After a brief period of figuring out how to adjust one's stroke to account for the added weight, I find this the most predictable, accurate putter I've ever had, by far. Even if one strikes the ball slightly off center, the club is so heavy that you don't lose momentum or twist the club substantially. The center shafted B-1 is ideal for a straight back, straight through, pendular stroke.

HEAVY PUTTER MODEL B-1

Summary:
I have spent a fortune on putters in my 30 years of playing golf and 99% of that money was wasted. I am not a natural when it comes to using the flat stick. Putting has always been the weakest point of my golf game. The Heavy Putter B-1 has changed my life. This thing , for me, is the "real deal". My struggle has always been with the dreaded 3-6 foot putts. Pull, push, decel. You name it and I have been afflicted with it.

Because of the weight of this putter and the distribution of the weight, it pretty much eliminates the jerky movements a regular weight allows. Initially, distance control was a small problem, but after using this putter for 4 weeks that is no longer a problem.

I have never written an endorsement letter for golf equipment because most of the claims are bogus. This is not the case with this putter.

heavy putter B1

Summary:
This putter is surprisingly good. Initially you are put off by the weight, but then you realize that the smooth pendulum stroke it encourages helps keep the putter on line. Distance control is wonderful..it's hard to overshoot the hole. The best is short putts however. Where previously I was always risking leaving the ball short, I now find myself powering the ball into the hole. I definitely recommend this putter...especially if you are have consistency problems with more conventionally weighted sticks.

Customer Service:
haven't tried them.

Heavy Putter B1

Summary:
I love this putter. Putting has always been the strong point of my game, and this is the putter I've been waiting for. Feels great, easy to align, almost swings itself.

(I have a B3 on the way (heel-shafted), and we'll see how that compares with the B1)

Customer Service:
Absolutely top-notch.
I bought the B1 used, and it came without a headcover. I called Heavy Putter, offering to buy a headcover, and they sent me one free

B-1 Heavy Putter

Summary:
I agree with the last review. This putter lives up to it's name. It is heavy. I had some trouble with disatnce control at first, but after contacting the company the problem is solved. The Customer Service rep suggested that I increase the head weight(I was leaving the putts short a lot) and to adjust the distance by how far back I move the putter and keeping the same tempo with all putts. It took about 30 min. on the practice green and I was dialed in. My avg. putts have went from 36 to 32 in one round and I have maintained my new avg.(32 P.P.R.)for the past 4 rounds. Now when I stand over a putt of any length I am confident I can make the putt. I got this putter on E-Bay (waveland store)for $220.00 w/ wieght kit. Still kinda pricy but the avg. driver is $399.00.

Customer Service:
Great, small company that know's their product.
