Highly recommended. Mizuno also makes grear fairway metals. I got both clubs with the Platinum stiff shaft. I tried the Aldila NV65 in the 3 but did not like the trajectory so I went back to the stock shaft Mizuno uses. I purchased these clubs after trying them at a demo where every major manufacture was there. These work the best for me. Great club. Long, penitrating, ball flight. Very square, i'm able to work the ball both ways (Natural draw bias). Most beautiful line of woods ever. Loved my Taylor Made 200 steel woods and thought i would never switch, but after getting the 460 driver and falling in love with it i tried this wood and have since gone all mizuno in the bag. Mizuno MP-001 15 degree 3 wood
Siff Exsar Sixty shaft Classic head shape, sits very nicely behind the ball. Compared to other fairway woods I have tried this club has a draw bias with a very penetrating flight, does not balloon at all. A hit out the sweet spot feels fantastic, but even if hit off the toe or heel the ball stills goes relatively straight. Probably due to the graphite shaft, but a miss-hit shot still feels good. Probably better to get a steel shaft if you want more feedback. Exceptionally easy to hit off the fairway. I normally hit my driver approx. 260 yards, but managed to equal or better that with this club. My first round using this club I played 8 over, compared to 14 normally and it's mostly due to accurate driving. Absolutely recommended, well-done Mizuno! MP-001 3 wood & 5 wood stiff and reg flex
I am not impressed with these fairway woods in either a regular of stiff flex graphite shaft. As some have said the sound is mute which is good but I was totally inconsistent with them. Rigth and then left and the 5 wood in particular blew up, I'm talking into a huge balloon. I have the new MX-23 irons and can't get enough of them, they are the best irons I have ever played, but these woods have got to go. I'm sure glad I didn't sell me Cobra SS fairway woods the Mizunos are not even in the same catagory in my opinion. Sorry to have to be the bearer of bad news but I was really disappointed particularly after all the positive hype on here. Good luck, if you purchase these I hope for your sake it was just me and not the clubs. Customer Service Won't be need it. Similar Products Used: Callaway VFT (better), Cobra SS (way better) |

15 Degree, S300 TT Steel
Very much like the MP-001 driver, it's a classic shape with a shallow face...steel/carbon composite instead of the driver's Ti/carbon construction...very solid at impact with a nice muted sound...either off a tee or off the deck, it'svery long for a 3-wood...easy to hit fades and draws with lots of action...ball flight not as high as other 3-woods...much more forgiveness distance-wise than with direction...because face is not as deep as many current fairway woods, fluffy lies can be a bit of a problem...True Temper Dynamic Gold shaft adds to the club's incredible feel...added weight makes it easy to swing with a smooth, deliberate tempo...good club for all players that swing aggressively and who don't need the extra hitting area a deep-faced wood provides. Customer Service Great from both Mizuno and my retailer. My seller ordered this club from Mizuno directly since he did not have a steel-shafted one in stock. Club was drop-shipped directly from Mizuno with no problems. Fast delivery. Similar Products Used: Tried the Cobra SZ, Cleveland Launcher and SonarTec. Current 3-woods owned are Titleist 975F w/Dynamic Gold and LiquidMetal Tour Series w/Graffalloy Blue. |

MIzuno MP-001 fairway wood 7
Beautiful club, nice shiny & matt finish, carbon fiber crown, just inspires u to want to hit it often & u believe u will hit it well. Very forgiving, my bad shots never really end up very bad, and surprisingly, using this club i am more consistent than even my 7 iron. Nice sound and feel at contact, and goes a looong way (by my standards at least), abt 180m on an easy swing. Easily can carry over 200m if u stry to crush it (but of course consistency suffers) I love this club, it is my favorite and i use off the tee even though i can get further with my driver because it is just so consistent! Really want to get the 3 & 5 woods too, but budget constraints dont allow me to yet. Cant say this enough, but, I LOVE THIS CLUB! Customer Service not applicable yet |

Great new fairway woods.Have a great feel and are yery long.Tried new Taylor Made and Titleist and found MP-001 to be longer and more forgiving than the other woods. Customer Service Have not had to use. Similar Products Used: Almost every fairway wood on market. |
