Mizuno MP-32

Summary:
Keep reading because you're looking at the review of a scratch golfer. Someone who knows what "solid" and "pure" means when hitting an iron. I can hit fades, hooks, draws..whatever I want to when I want to if I have the right iron in my hands. The MP-32 is a delight. It cuts through the sod like a fine blade should. I was throwing darts all day. I hit 17 greens in regulation and three shots were within 3 feet. 3 feet is a gimmie for me. If you're above a 7 handicap I wouldn't put them in your bag. A 7 has no business with blades.

Mizuno MP 32's

Summary:
I've been playing these for roughly 2 years now. I had just got them properly fitted at the start of this season. I find that in the fairway these clubs are exeptional. I don't try to work the ball that much, but when I do, I can manage quite well. They don't have the best feel around the greens, and are quite short out of the rough.

When I look for my next set in a number of years, I will be sure to start with Mizuno.

Mizuno MP-32

Summary:
I found a set of barely used MP-32's with REGULAR-flex Dynamic Gold steel shafts two years ago at Golfsmith for $450. They replaced my graphite-shafted Mizuno MX-23's (which I LOVED). I'm a 15 handicap, 5'7", 210, 59 years young. I seldom try to "work" the ball and only play 10-12 rounds each summer. I have always been a good iron player including long irons (I purchased a 2-iron to go along with this 3-PW set) although I bought a Bobby Jones hybrid this year that has so far, replaced the 2-iron.

I wouldn't trade these MP-32's for anything. In fact, I keep looking for another set with Regular shafts to buy as a backup for the day these puppies wear out. There is no better feel in golf than hitting Mizuno forged irons on the sweet spot..."like a knife through butter" and it's true!

No need to be a scratch golfer to play these. You'll find the accuracy of your shots will quickly improve within 2-3 rounds. You'll also have almost perfect distance control. I hit my 7-iron 150 yards (which is why I use regular shafts) with almost perfect 10-yard increments on each club (2-iron = 200 yards, down to the PW = 120 yards). When the SkyCaddy says 162, I aim for the pin, swing a smooth 6-iron and let the CLUB do the work. The MP-32's will improve the iron play part of your game immensely. BUY THEM!!!

Now, if only I could putt! I had an 89 yesterday, but with 38 putts.

MP-32

Summary:
Just bought a second hand set in v. good condition for €80, yes €80!!

Played 2 rounds with these and have just dumped new sets of Titleist ZM's and AP2's from my bag (Yes, I am a club ho!).

The reason: "Nothing feels like a Mizuno" - now I understand. Yes, the ZM's are very solid clubs, but they feel quite clicky, while the MP-32's are lovely and soft. They are suprising forgiving too. These clubs are the real deal and outperform ANY of the modern high tech musclebacks.

Bought the AP2's as back-ups to the ZM's for times when I couldn't put in the practice or not swinging 100%. The MP-32's negate the need for either set of Titleist irons.

These are soft, sweet, and workable with a perfect blend of forgiveness to keep you focused without getting overly punished for slight mis-hits.

Tried the new MP-62 - not nearly in the same leauge. I wish Mizuno still made these so I could buy a new set to put away

Now if only Mizuno learned how to make woods......
