Sasquatch Hybrids

Summary:
The new Nike Hybrid 3 (20 loft) is my "go to" club. Hits long-straigt-high, great for confidence on tight tees and fairways. Good chance you make your 2nd on the green on your par4s even if you don't bomb your drive - lands real soft on the green and stays there. I would probably score best going out with just this club and a few lofted irons/wedges and putter (interesting test to seriously consider).
Consider - I am 43, 6ft, not very agile and mostly arms in my swing. Been playing for 2 years.

I have less control and consistancy with the new SQ2 3 wood (15 loft), that extra shaft length and clubhead size adds an extra 20 yards over my 3 hybrid, especially in roll, but when considering distance vs. accuracy, the 3 hybrid is a winner with me.

Nike SasQuatch SQ2

Summary:
Have been playing this club now for about 2 months with excellent results. I tried every 3-wood they had in Golfsmith (seriously, every one) and found the setup and feel of this club to be better than anything else.

As others have mentioned this club is long for a 3-wood. I am averaging about 245 and sometimes getting over 265 with it. The in-store monitor said I was averaging about 95mph and the salesman suggested that the stiff Diamana shaft would be best.

Length is all well and good, but the best thing about this club is how reliably straight it is. My normal ball flight is a bit right to left, but I sometimes get lazy and the ball leaks to right. Either way, this club rarely punishes me too badly. I now have great confidence standing over the ball on the tee. So much so that I think I might give up my "no driver" rule and check out this club's big brother.

Customer Service:
I have to say that the service at the downtown San Francisco Golfsmith was really great the night I bought this club. They patiently let me work my way through every possible option. I also got this club on sale for about $150.

Nike Sasquatch 3-Wood

Summary:
Never bought a Nike club before. Was looking for a 3 wood and saw this on sale with a stiff shaft for 130 at a local store and thought it was reasonable.

Good call. Never broke 80 before last Sunday. This club helped me shoot 74. Used it off the tee, from the fairway and the rough. It is very easy to hit from any lie.

My miss is a hook and this club can be worked either way with medium height. It is confidence inspiring knowing I could free wheel it without fear of hooking it into the left rough. I carry it around 240 with little roll.

Well done Nike. It will make look at their products the next time I feel the need to go club ho'ing.

Nike SQ2 3 wood

Summary:
Goes absolutely miles for a 3 wood.
Great trajectory of flight as well as a great feel when hit on the sweetspot.

Picked it up second hand for 75 quid and one of the best buys i have made.
Can hit it 250 on my day, which is unbelievable for me.
Recommend it for most levels of players!
