Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ping Hoofer Vantage Summary: Great bag to carry. Has improved in wearing characteristics since its inception. Straps need to be better constructed. Because it is so easy to use I have had a number of them since they were introduced. Customer Service: (Outstanding, awesome) - I bought one and it wore out where it touched my body after one and a half seasons. Ping replaced it free of charge right away(when I finished my round). The replacement bag broke a strap at the end of it's season and Ping replaced it right away free of charge. I went out and bought another Ping bag essentially the same for my spare set of clubs and have had no problems with it. Will stick with Ping carry bags. I have two friends with who broke straps on their Ping Hoofers and Ping replaced them right away free of charge. We all bought our bags thru our pro in our pro shop.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: Ping Hoofer Extreme Summary: Do NOT buy this bag. The rod that controls the stand broke after a few months, as well as one of the zippers, rendering that pocket useless. It now looks good in my closet, but I can't use it on the course. Customer Service: Customer service was unable to replace the bag. To have the bag "repaired", it would cost $33.00 plus S&H. This company charges enough for their equipment that it should stand behind their product, without additional fees. Callaway has been much better in replacing defective equipment. I just bought Ping G10 irons, but I'll never purchase another Ping product, based on this experience. Similar Products Used: Callaway. Cleveland.

Shoots in the 70s Model Reviewed: ping hoofer extreme Summary: Looks to me like some of these reviews are from ping, and the others are from anti-ping.... Well, here's one from an actual user... The material is durable, the retractable strap is great, the zippers are a bad design that requires 2 hands to operate. The legs work fine. I'm going to continue to use it comfortably for a few years I'd guess, but I think I'd get something else next time. Customer Service: na Similar Products Used: many

Shoots in the 80s Model Reviewed: Ping Hoofer Extreme Summary: The Hoofer Extreme is a COMPLETE DISASTER, do not take one even if they offer to give it to you. Ping strap have always been bad, I always replace it with an Izzo strap immediately. In addition, the materials are pitiful, the collar of mine wore out in 35 rounds of walking, the legs don't ever work properly, and the bag has exposed rivets in the area where the driver and 3-wood shafts are stored and these scratch up expensive shafts.
The new Hoofer Vantage is as bad or worse. After using Ping bags for 20+ years my last three (Hoofer 3/Extreme/Vantage) have been horrible and I'll never buy another Ping carry bag. Customer Service: They try, but are totally ineffective. Similar Products Used: None so far, but that will change asap.
